The College Director’s Scholarship (worth £3,000) will be awarded to an applicant who has demonstrated an exceptional sense of social responsibility, leadership skills and community service. Your task is to tell us how you have shone in one or all of these areas.
You will need to provide examples and share with us the impact you had and the personal growth you experienced. Submissions can take the form of a written essay, a short video or reel, or a collage with written explanation.
Submission Guidelines
- Three format options: Word document (no more than 1,000 words) OR short video or reel (no more than 3 minutes) OR collage (images + no more than 1,000 words)
- Submissions will be assessed on the following:
- Originality
- Creativity
- Clarity and coherence
- Use of visuals and examples.
- Deadline for submissions to be received:
- For our May 2025 intake: Monday 7th April, 11pm BST
- For our September 2025 intake: Monday 4th August, 11pm BST
- Submit to info@bcuic.bcu.ac.uk and include the subject line ‘College Director’s Scholarship Application’
Next steps
Applicants will be advised of the outcome no later than Wednesday 30th April for the May 2025 intake and Friday 22nd August for the September 2025 intake.
Terms and Conditions
- Applicant must hold an offer to study at BCUIC.
- Discount will be deducted from the tuition fee payment during the second semester. If full tuition fee is paid, discount will be applied when student progresses to BCU.
- This discount does not apply to students who are sponsored by a government/ organisation/company.
- This discount applies to students joining BCUIC in the May 2025/September 2025/January 2026 intakes only.
- Limited number available; offered on a first come, first served basis.
- Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
