Applying to study with us is easy. Simply submit your application online and our Admissions Team will contact you soon after with a Conditional Offer. If you’re not sure where to start, follow our handy step-by-step guide below.
We offer 19 undergraduate pathways leading onto Bachelor’s degrees at Birmingham City University (BCU) and 9 postgraduate pathways leading onto Master’s degrees at BCU. Have a look through our study options to decide which course is the one for you.
You can check your academic eligibility by looking at our Admissions Requirements and selecting your country from the drop-down menu. It may be the case that you’re eligible to apply direct to BCU, without the need to study a pathway programme with us. If you think your qualifications will enable you to do this, you can check here: www.bcu.ac.uk/international
Once our Admissions Team have processed your application, they will generate a Conditional Offer which will outline any outstanding conditions that need to be met. Once you meet all conditions, you will receive an Unconditional Offer.
A deposit payment is required at this stage, and this is the cost of your first semester of study. For a breakdown of fees per pathway programme, take a look at our Fees page.

Once your place has been confirmed and you have your CAS, you can apply for your student visa.
As soon as you have your visa, you should book your flight to Birmingham – and start your UK study adventure!
