BCUIC Summer School

When is it?

The BCUIC Summer School will run from Sunday 20th to Friday 25th July 2025.

 

What’s the cost?

The cost of the BCUIC Summer School is approximately £1,300 per person. (This does not include visitor visa, travel insurance, or flights to and from the UK.)

What’s included?

Accommodation

You will be staying in University Locks – a student halls of residence, right next to the BCU campus. You will each have a single en-suite bedroom containing a small double bed (bedding and pillows included), a private shower room with sink and toilet (towels included), and you will share a kitchen with your schoolmates (featuring hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board).

Security is very important at BCU. In addition to 24-hour CCTV, security officers are on duty out of office hours, and there is a secure door entry system.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the building and across the campus.

Airport pick-up/drop-off

To take any stress out of your arrival, we will meet you at Birmingham Airport on Sunday 20th July. We will also drop you off at the airport on Friday 25th July for your journey home.

Cultural/social excursions

As well as experiencing the academic side of university and exploring the range of subjects on offer, we also want you to enjoy the social and cultural side of UK life. Here are some of the activities on offer:

  • Visiting Cadbury World
  • Tenpin bowling
  • Crazy golf
  • Shopping in the Bullring
  • Canal boat city tour

Catering

We will provide a continental breakfast (such as toast, muffins, pastries, yogurt, coffee, fruit juice) on every morning you are with us, and we will provide dinner (in a variety of Birmingham restaurants/cafés) on every evening you are with us. Lunch will not be provided but can easily be purchased from the many shops/cafés.
